This elegant board is created from the barrel head staves of aged oak wine barrels making for a perfect serving tray for entertaining or intimate snacks. The rustic yet elegant nature of this serving tray gives every home a wonderful conversation piece when serving your favorite meats and cheeses.

 

The barrel staves are finely sanded to preserve the rich burgundy color of remaining wine patina from the barrel fermentation process and sealed with a food-safe mineral oil. Two barrel stave pieces are customized to fit and are secured to the underside of the staves to create a stable platform. When not holding your favorite charcuteries, add greenery or candles to make a stunning table centerpiece or focal point on your mantle.

No two staves are exactly the same; the grain, the colour of the red wine-stained wood and markings all contribute to the uniqueness of each charcuterie board. These one-of-a-kind art pieces make for an excellent engagement, wedding or housewarming gift that will always be remembered.
