The Story Behind The Design
As an integral part of the RCMP ceremonial uniform, the iconic RCMP Stetson hat is also one of Canada's most recognizable symbols, representing, like the scarlet Red Serge tunic, the traditions of the RCMP and the dedication, perseverance, and commitment required to earn the privilege of wearing it. Yet for many members, it spends most of its time on a closet shelf or tucked away in a box between ceremonial occasions.
The Stetson Press was designed to change that.
Handcrafted from solid walnut and maple, the Stetson Press provides a dedicated place to proudly display the Stetson while preserving its shape, protect it from everyday wear, and keep it ready for its next ceremonial occasion.
More than a hat press, it was thoughtfully designed to display, protect, and preserve one of the most recognizable symbols of RCMP service, and the achievements it represents.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
SOLID HARDWOOD CONSTRUCTION
Handcrafted from carefully selected black walnut and maple for their beauty, strength, and natural character. Overall dimensions: 18" long x 11" wide x 1.5" thick.
HARDWARE
A piano hinge provides smooth opening and closing operation, while two concealed magnets securely hold the press closed to protect the Stetson during storage and display.
FINISH
Finished with two coats of premium hardwax oil to enhance the natural beauty of the wood while providing, durable lasting protection.

DESIGNED FOR THE STETSON
Purpose-built to display the RCMP Stetson while helping preserve its shape. Every dimension was carefully considered to create a secure, stable, and elegant display.
SYMBOLIC DESIGN
Inspired by the RCMP ceremonial uniform, the breeches-lace engraving honours the Force's equestrian heritage, while the walnut and maple reflect the midnight blue riding breeches and iconic yellow cavalry stripe.
FUNCTIONAL & ACCESSIBLE
An integrated walnut stand keeps the Stetson elevated, protected, and within easy reach, providing a dedicated place to safely store and display the hat between ceremonial occasions.
CHARACTER
PERSONALIZED
Each Stetson Press features a laser-engraved RCMP crest and personalized laser-engraving on the top of the press, including the member's name, regimental number, detachment, or a custom inscription.
